How big can a file be?
Up to 100 GB per file. Uploads go in parts, so a dropped connection resumes from where it stopped instead of starting over.
What kinds of files can I store?
Any kind. Videos, photos, music, PDFs, documents and archives all work, and most of them preview right in your browser.
Do people need an account to open my link?
No. Anyone with the link can view or download the file or folder you shared, and you can turn the link off at any time.
Is my storage private?
Yes. Nothing is public until you create a share link, and downloads use short-lived signed links rather than permanent public addresses.
What happens when I delete something?
It moves to Trash, where you can restore it. You can also undo right after deleting. Emptying Trash removes files for good.
Can I use FileNext on my phone?
Yes, in any modern mobile browser. Native apps for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows are planned.
Can I download a whole folder?
